Write the thoughts down. Empty your head onto paper, no censoring. It tricks your brain into thinking the thoughts are “handled.”
Create a small ritual. Light a candle, sip tea, stretch. It signals to your body: “We’re winding down.”
Whisper to yourself like a friend. Instead of “Why can’t I sleep?” try “It’s okay, I’ll rest soon.” Your mind listens to the words you use.
