When Your Reflection Feels Like an Enemy

If mirrors feel cruel, try this:
Change the script. Instead of “I look awful,” ask, “What part of me can I appreciate today?”
Use movement. Dance, walk, stretch — it reminds you your body is alive, not just an image.
Cover the mirror. Sometimes self-kindness is giving yourself a break.
Remember: a mirror only shows an angle, not your whole story.
